This would probably be better for r/techsupport. Trying another keyboard will let you know if the issue is hardware or software. If the Ctrl and 0 work fine on the other keyboard, then the issue is hardware, otherwise it's software. For a hardware issue it's most likely a little short caused by a spill.
The CTRL key on my keyboard has been annoying me for days now. Commands like CTRL+A, CTRL+C don't work sometimes and its results in just A and C being printed on the screen. This happens with both CTRL keys (both left and right). I've removed and cleaned both keys on the keyboard, but this does not resolve the problem.

Try following -. Open Word > File > Options > Customize Ribbon > Down below you have Keyboard Shortcuts: Customize > Reset All (This will reset all your existing shortcuts and even custom made ones) Unforunately, the Reset doesn't help. ctrl c ctrl v not working. Recently i've encountered this problem with CTRL C and V unable to copy or paste anything anywhere. Able to do so with mouse where right click copy paste works for that. CTRL F works which means ctrl button is functional. i've tried restoring to an earlier restore point, ran SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
On VS Code, Click on Help, then click on Show All Commands. OR you can open the command palette directly with shortcut: ctrl + shift + p (on Windows/Linux) or cmd + shift + p (on Mac). Paste Developer: Toggle Keyboard Shortcuts Troubleshooting on the search bar. Click on the gear sign next to the command.
